In our substance abuse treatment center, we provide detoxification services in the initial phase of the recovery process when necessary. Upon admission, the client will be evaluated by one of our contracted physicians and supervised by our nursing and resident support staff. Each client will be closely monitored for withdrawal symptoms and will be medicated safely and appropriately. Detoxification is the first step to addiction recovery: Avalon’s Cottage House provides ongoing residential treatment for recovery from substance abuse and addictive disorders in our comfortable home-like environment.
