Monica M. Lowe, M.S., R.D. - Nutritionist
Monica has earned both Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Nutrition and Food Science from California State University, Northridge and has been a registered dietitian nutritionist for the past 18 years. She lives in Ojai, California, and provides Medical Nutrition Therapy, nutrition education, and counseling for individuals and families within Ventura, Santa Barbara Counties, and Los Angeles counties.
She has worked in a variety of settings such as acute hospitals, outpatient treatment facilities for eating disorders and mental health and substance abuse, in-home health care, as a personal trainer, and has even planned and prepared meals for professional athletes. Monica’s goal in working with people is to provide them with accurate information and knowledge about nutrition and to guide them in eating healthier, feeling better, and embracing eating as an enjoyable experience.
