Our Process

Avalon Malibu Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Center is a California state licensed residential addiction and mental health treatment center dedicated to the healing of adults experiencing substance abuse disorders as well as psychiatric and mental health issues. We focus on POTENTIAL not PATHOLOGY.

Utilizing experiential methodologies, expressive arts, and research based psychotherapies, we offer both a holistic residential drug rehabilitation center as well as a residential mental health treatment center. By providing a nurturing and therapeutic environment, our clients are encouraged to participate actively in their recovery.

At our Malibu Rehab we provide five levels of care: Licensed Addiction Residential Treatment (Detoxification), Licensed Mental Health Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program, and Outpatient Medication Management.
