Intensive Outpatient Program

When life changes bring on emotional upheaval, we can help. At Avalon Malibu, we understand that people often face times when their own coping skills aren’t enough. A helpful alternative for emotionally or chemically dependent individuals 18 years or older who need intensive, ongoing treatment but not 24 hour inpatient care, would be our intensive outpatient program. Our outpatient addiction treatment programs are ideal for people who have a support system and can manage medications on their own.

Led by a team of skilled professionals, the program offers clients more structure, yet allows them to live at home in a sober living environment. Partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs are certified by the California Department of Healthcare Services. Clients must have completed a primary treatment care program to enroll in this program.

Benefits of Enrolling in Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Our program allows individuals to continue maintaining other obligations that are equally as important such as family, work, or school.

We have affordable outpatient options and certain insurance is accepted. Outpatient treatment is generally more affordable than residential treatment, however, residential treatment is necessary during the first phases of addiction treatment.
